I'm so glad you're here! I'm Madison, the creator behind
'The Potted Stem.'
In 2022 -- after years of arranging florals for fun (both real and faux) -- I launched 'The Potted Stem.' I've always been inspired by beautiful interiors, and this project has been such a fun and creative outlet for me.
When done right, I truly believe faux can be as beautiful as real. I see the work I do as art, with no two arrangements ever being identical. I love to play with color, texture, and size to create arrangements that pull a space together.
I work out of my home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. When I'm not sourcing products and creating arrangements, I am likely in 'mom-mode' -- driving carpool and cheering on my kids in their sports and activities. I also enjoy traveling with my family, volunteering, and exercising.

When it comes to faux floral design, we love to mix modern and traditional elements. We use the highest quality faux stems and moss in our arrangements and source beautiful containers to perfectly complement the florals.
We offer custom arrangements, as well as ready-made – with the majority of our business being custom. For custom design, we discuss everything from size and scale, to specific blooms and style. If you prefer to select a ready-made arrangement, we typically have a few available at all times, and you can shop them directly through us. We also have partnerships with Luxe Furniture & Design and Murray Hill Market, so they often have exclusive arrangements available in their showrooms!
pricing
Pricing varies depending on size, number of stems, and container. As a general rule of thumb, each orchid stem ranges from $45-$65.
Custom arrangements typically start at $200. We do our best to work within client budgets and always provide pricing before beginning a custom arrangement.
Typical ranges for ready-made arrangements:
Small: $95 - $150
Medium: $165 - $195
Large: $200+
